Mock Exam Terms & Conditions
‘Child’ means the child who is registered to attend a mock exam;
‘Client’ means the parent or guardian of a Child registered to attend a mock exam;
‘SC’ means Sue Chapman (sole trader);
‘mock exam’ means the mock 11+ exam session which the child attends or which he/she is registered to attend.
This agreement is between the Client and SC.
3.1 The Client shall ensure that he or she or, where relevant, the person with responsibility to drop off and pick up the Child to and from the mock exam location on the session date shall:
3.1.1 drop off the Child to the supervision of the teacher responsible for the Child’s mock exam at the beginning of the session when the examination room is opened and not before; and
3.1.2 collect the Child from the teacher responsible for the Child’s mock exam at the end of the session from the examination room as requested at the end of the examination.
4. Medical conditions, medications and treatments
4.1 At the point of registration, the Client shall inform SC if the Child has or suffers from any medical injury, condition (including any allergies) or disability that ought to be brought to the attention of SC so that an assessment of the Child’s needs can be properly made. In the event that a Child suffers from a medical injury or condition that could require physical intervention at any time, the Client will be required to remain in the building for the duration of the exam.
4.2 If SC is informed that a Child attending a mock exam has an allergy, the mock exam teacher will, if specifically instructed by the Client, take reasonable precautions to protect that pupil from exposure to the cause of the allergy, but SC cannot guarantee non-exposure. In the event that a Child has an allergy that could require physical intervention at any time, such as the use of an EpiPen or other medication, the Client will be required to remain in the building for the duration of the exam.
5. Cancellation by the Client
5.1 SC understands that the Client’s circumstances may change and SC will seek to accommodate the Client where possible.
5.2 If the Client wishes to cancel a mock exam session, the Client must give written notice at least 7 days prior to the date of the mock exam session the Client wishes to cancel. The Client will be eligible for a full refund in such circumstances. If the Client cancels a mock exam session and fails to give notice at least 7 days prior, the Client is not eligible for any refund.
6. Cancellation or Amendment by SC
6.1 At any time on or prior to the date on which the mock exam session runs, SC reserves the right to cancel:
6.1.1 the mock exam session; or
6.1.2 the Child’s place at the session and, in such circumstances, the Client is entitled to a refund of the payment made for the mock exam session at registration.
6.2 At any time on or prior to the date on which the mock exam session runs, SC reserves the right to propose a new date/time for the mock exam session. In such circumstances, the Client shall be entitled to either:
(i) accept the new date/time; or
(b) receive a refund for that session on the same basis as if the session has been cancelled by SC (as per clause 6.1)
Please note: these clarifications have been stated so that the Client understands their rights when registering for a mock exam session(s) with SC. Every effort is made to ensure that all mock exams run as timetabled to avoid any disappointment or inconvenience.

7.1 Exam question papers and completed answer papers are not made available to the Client.
